Technical and conceptual support in early project stage

With many years experience in the AV industry Endurescreens is able to answer most of the commonly asked questions regarding the uses and specification of our screens. Understanding the relationship between the screen, the projection system and the viewer is important to providing professional advice to our clients to ensure the most appropriate screen for the purpose it’s specified for.

Our designers are creative with detailed technical knowledge of all elements of the screens we supply. This enables them to create workable solutions to suit the requirements and support our customers creative solutions and innovative ideas.

Detailed design – Engineering

Our designers use 3D modelling software to create a 3D model of the screen required. This is then sent to our customers for checking. If any changes are required the design may go through a few iterations until everyone is happy with the final version and then this is signed of by our customers.

Once our customer has agreed to the detailed design we then design a manufacturing level model. This model details the support structure, the frame and the panels, right down to where holes will be and what size fixings will be used. From this computer model of the screen the tooling is set up and the screen proceeds into manufacture.

Manufacturing

During the initial discussion pre-contract we will give an indication of the manufacturing time needed for the screen. Depending on the factory loading, manufacturing can be very fast and efficient. Most straight forward screens can be designed and manufactured and delivered ex-works within just a few months. Complicated designs and manufacturing where doors, complex structures and apertures are required take longer.

Our customers are kept informed of progress and are given dates in advance
for when their screen will be ready for shipping.

Quality Control

Every step of our screens manufacture and installation is strictly monitored to ensure that all of the elements meet our very high standards. In the case of more complicated structures we often do a factory build to ensure that the structure works. On site all panel joins are labelled and photographed and the photos sent to the factory for checking. Anything that does not meet our very high standards is redone to ensure our products are the highest quality available.

Logistics

Endurescreens provides the option for us to ship the screen to site and will supply our customers with accurate delivery information well in advance of the screen being delivered. This service combined with design, manufacture and the installation process means that our customers don’t have the stress or problems that can arise through unforeseen circumstances. Endurescreens can take responsibility and manage the whole process. This process can also include import duty and ground transportation. Delivery from door to door with co-ordination of the installation team means that our projects run smoothly and efficiently. Apart from making some on site arrangements that are agreed in advance, our customers do not have to worry from the time the screen is ordered to the time it is installed and ready for use.

Project management – installation

At Endurescreens we do all we can to ensure that everyone involved is kept informed of progress and knows what will be happening and when. This detailed project plan and communication is vital to the smooth running of a project.

We supply a fully trained installation team who are experts at what they do. They work together like a well-oiled machine and are almost completely self-sufficient. On some larger installations we may require some local labour to give unskilled assistance, but this is rare and specified before the contract is signed.

Handover

At the end of each installation the end client and our customer are invited to inspect the quality of workmanship and identify any items that they are not happy with. Any items that need to be rectified are done there and then and then the screen is signed off. Following acceptance of the screen the construction materials are cleared from the site and it is returned to its previous condition.
