In March 2019, the Tongguan Kiln International Cultural and Tourism Center in Changsha, China opened its state-of-the-art 5D theatrical attraction. This is currently one of the biggest 5D theatres in the world, with a 45M diameter screen and 800 SFX seats!

Magic Glaze is a huge theater resembling the inside of a kiln to reflect the porcelain craftsmanship from the Tang Dynasty and it features a semi-circular screen 45M in diameter, and a supporting ceiling screen with a total screen surface area of 2148m². Using Endurescreens’ signature Pro+ product, applying the most advanced seamless technology, made this screen an ideal surface for the stimulating and exciting visual experience. Our production team prepared a special 1.0 screen gain for this project, to achieve the exacting requirements for a 3D image.
Our partner and client on this project, Kraftwerk Living Technologies, was responsible for the technical design, detailed planning, logistics, audio-visual integration as well as programming and commissioning. They successfully combined a thrilling 3D adventure, with enhanced precise motion and well-selected special effects and were awarded the prestigious Inavation Award for Magic Glaze in the Leisure and Entertainment Venue category at the Awards Gala in Amsterdam in 2020.
Endurescreens provided a one stop services to the client for this screen, including design, manufacturing and on-site installation, and once again achieved an excellent, and remarkable masterpiece to add to our ever-growing list of global projects.
